Chelsea, having just spent about 800 mill on players have withdrawn the £10 coach fare subsidy for their saintly supporters.

He'll do well to make the bench at Chelsea, whereas Pep clearly had him in his plans.

Another move motivated purely by folding and not football, and I bet he's elsewhere come the start of 25/26.

Bias aside, the new Chelsea kit is horrible, the iridescent badge is just weird. Fitting.

I watched Spurs play a cup game in midweek they lost on penalties but their kit was shocking at least to my eyes.
Chelsea have no sponser so it looks plain compared to every other clubs shirt.
Cole Palmer looks like an incredible talent who was just starting to get his chance with City I cannot figure out why he moved to Chelsea .
I realize its money but breaking through under Pep is a big accomplishment and he fcuked up I think

Potchettino on the BBC site bemoaning that 'the transfer window has been tough'. Probably referring to the lack of funds the club made available for him.

Chelsea have spent a staggering £434.5m on recruits - the most spent by any club during a transfer window in Premier League history.

Think about that figure for a minute; £434.5 bloody million.

I think Cole Palmer has been ill advised.

I would have thought Man City could have loaned him to another top level team but am guessing the wages Chelsea offering are extreme.

And paying Man City 42 million on an as yet proven top level player. No brainer for City and the million players in the Chelsea squad the last place I would want to go to establish myself would be to a club with four or five options in each position.

Now if Chelsea want to loan Cole Palmer out to QPR that makes sense !!! ☺️

They probably can’t wait until January and they have a chance to buy some new players. They must be down to the bare bones now.

Just watching MOTD, and did I really hear Jonathan Pearce say the signing of Cole Palmer has taken their spending to A BILLION AND A QUARTER since that bloke took over?

Yep, your ears didnt deceive you. They now have to sell, I think, £100m worth of players per season to keep the right side of FFP. I imagine all the financials are based on best case scenario, CL money etc.

Storing up a shed load of problems.

I happened to be in SW6 late yesterday afternoon. I was genuinely surprised by the number that had left the ground and were already on the streets with about 80 minutes on the clock. That’s about 20 minutes left of football in new money. It was only 1-0 ffs. That said, a lovely place to be is the Fulham Road when the sun is shining and it’s full of miserable losing Ch”ls** bastards whilst the Rs are cruising to victory in the North.

They'll be fine don't worry about that.

They'll just go out and buy the FA and FIFA and some microwave dinners.

I've heard a rumour that they have demanded that the transfer window be re-opened immediately.
