Liam Manning.

Quite the switch around from a week ago when this fixture would have been Ainsworth v Nigel Pearson.

I don’t think Brians joking, after all he’s a QS and can make anything plus anything equal whatever you want!

That's the 'false' part.

Decent recovery, Brian.

I've set that aside for goal celebration contingencies:

1) Allocated so far - 164%

2) QPR goal celebration contingencies - 12%
3) Bristol City goal celebration contingencies - 6%
4) Brian McCarthy fees and charges, payable in Peroni to LFW PLC at C&S - 447.26%

If they are going to play out from the back might be a case for Armstrong leading the pressing .

Armstrong starting is something that I would normally be totally opposed to, but the pace difference between Sinclair & Rob Dickie is something to be considered.

Don't think he'd be too keen on those shoulder barges either. This referee seemed reasonably ok with the physicality during the Ipswich match, if I remember correctly.

U fans not impressed with how manning left for Bristol city. A bit of bealegate- short tenure, top of the division, loyalty and integrity called into question, ambitious.

Will they have a manager bounce?

I suppose especially since they gave him a chance to rebuild his reputation after Franchise FC.

Living in the west country now, on the local news last night they interviewed a few of their fans and 'underwhelmed' was the general view I got. Couple of them did think they might have got a bigger name.

I guess from his point of view he got MK Dons into the play-offs, he then lost his sporting director, Scott Twine and Troy Parrott that summer and when they - shock horror - didn't start the following season as well he got the sack, so he's probably minded to just look after himself.

Wasnt he (Manning) mentioned before Beale around these parts?

Bristol City also much bigger club than Oxford but also he hadnt just announced to the world a la Beale about loyalty.

As for Bristol City fans another of these sleeping giants you know....

Didn't Manning turn down Championship approaches including from us previously to stick with MK? Not making the same mistake twice and turning down a step up in level, which is fair enough
