I think it brings out a bit more honesty in the question and answers, rather than a rigid interview. Haven't seen this one yet though. I take it Les didn't bring up SWP, rinsing us for £60 G a week for sweet FA in return, contributing to our financial meltdown ?

No he didn't name any names but did say we went down with multiple players on 70k a week refusing to play and slagging the club off who we couldn't get rid of

Not as brutal as you might think. He has said himself that after he left school and joined United full time he dropped all of his mates completely.
I have also heard plenty of stories of him refusing to sign autographs whilst other players, including his brother Phil, happily signed.
I met him when he visited our office in Qatar; actually came over as quite a decent bloke.
He got lost in the building so I went to get him and his crew. When I found him, our big African security guard was beside himself and kept bellowing, 'Oh my God, its you, its really you!' It was embarrassing. GN shook his hand, had a little chat, and posed for a pic.
We get in the lift, quiet descends, and I pipe up, 'He'll finish his shift, phone back home and tell the family...today, I met Phil Neville's brother!' GN pissed himself.
We chatted about the then forthcoming WC. He was well switched on about the workers' rights issues.
Bloody glad he wasn't our manager though!

I don't watch these things, because I find people on podcasts can waffle on at times. However, I did watch this, and really enjoyed it.
However, I thought SLF really showed MB up in relation to the Wolves job. But his admission that once GRFC came in was fair. It reminded me when I was back in December after MB left, and I was talking to one of the club shop staff and he basically said the same thing: Beale loved GRFC, it was his dream job and wouldn't you leave to take your dream job if it were offered you?
Look at it like that, fair enough. But I bet MB wished he'd waited and saw things out at QPR. SLF's comment that MB had the players eating out of the palm of his hands was telling.

Pretty sure SWP had left (2015) before Les came in (2016).
But I would've loved it if SWP was one of those senior players still at the club milking us when Les arrived. As that would've made for very awkward viewing with Ian Wright sitting there listening!

In retrospect you have to wonder if the players would have continued to love and respect Beale if he had stayed.
Our form wasn't great when Beale left and as we have seen Beale can talk and talk and talk and talk the talk but has yet to walk the walk,

Warnock. He signed them yes, and they in return for their lucrative contract, went out of their way to get Warnock the sack. They didn't play to the best of their abilities, and the club was a mess. Name a club that hasn't tried and sign prem players when they get promoted. The takeover from Fernandes made all signings Last minute dot com. Not sure what your point is.? I'm pretty sure Warnock didn't sign SWP on the proviso he does fcuk all .

I’m assuming the argument with the former manager re loanee who had a couple of shockers was Warburton and Sanderson.
Could also have been Tim Iroegbunam. Had some shockers and was certainly not deserving of a starting place at times. Beale played a big part, which fits Ferdinand’s story. There were penalty clauses for not playing him.
And from what I’ve seen of Alex Aoraha, who plays the same position, I’d much prefer Aoraha. A player we own, who has genuine quality, but who has not yet had a chance.

The context suggested to me it was related to a young player. A young prem loan, blocking our own young player that Les was not happy with. Either way, it was a fascinating listen behind the scenes.
