Playing in Vancouver Sept 20th, literally across the road from Paul Weller the same night! I’ve gone with Weller as I’ve seen Marr before and James a few times.

I thought that was Rishi Sunk in the front row on about 6.30 but then I remembered that he was so poor then that a ticket for James was way out of his price range.

Only gig that I witnessed the band not being able to start up the next song as the audience just kept clapping and cheating. Band were very humbled. Hairs on the back of the neck stuff.
Again new album is wonderful. Going to the gig in Philadelphia and also spend the day taking in the sights.
Love Johnny Marr as well. A world without the smiths would be poorer in my eyes. (Tin hat on)

Another shout-out for James. One of the best bands I've ever seen live. Maybe not musically - though they were no daws - but atmosphere and playing the crowd. Unreal.

Love Johny Marr . Love the Smiths . Always thought he’d be the big star after the Smiths broke up . Turned out to be Morrisey. Thought the same about Stone Roses . John Squire upstaged by Ian Brown . What a pair of bells Morrisey and Brown turned out to be .
