I totally understand we have lots of injured players. Ah what's the point, Marti ain't gonna change his style of play.

I agree. Lloyd isn’t perfect but he’s better than nothing. You can’t start Anderson ahead of paal, and why wouldn’t you play Morrison and push Edwards into midfield where he was good last time.

But on the positive side, although it doesn't feel like it we won't play that badly every game for the rest of the season. We can't...surely? It's the Championship, we'll High Press and Jimmy Dunne Forehead our way to a couple of wins. Only highlight for me today was being called negative and nasty by Stainrod's Elbow, which is akin Joey Barton calling you 'a bit of a c*nt'. Fun!

Anderson woeful and got skinned multiple times and the goal finally came from that side. Morgan had to swap with Anderson for some more solid cover which meant Morgan had to play 25 minutes as a LW. If Lloyd started this wouldn’t of happened, should have been Smyth and dembele wife and Morgan in 10 with varane and colback holding.

I heard more irony than anything else during the last half hour - 'we've got the ball','they've got the ball','we scored a goal'. I think 'we're fcuking shit' also cropped up before that which was accurate and understandable.

Bizarre team selection once again, it's like Marti just doesn't get it at times and can't see what's glaringly obvious.....sigh..... No doubt in the post match presser he will say he's disappointed and so are the team as they 'really' wanted to win the game, but don't worry next time they will 'really' try hard....

Stoke City v Queens Park Rangers- match thread hi on 18:03 - Mar 29 with 1276 views | mart_Goblin | Difficult to explain that 3rd goal especially. That ball was rolled in between 3 QPR players who all turned like milk..especially Fox who I thought was moving in slow motion. It just can’t be and shouldn’t be that easy . Paal got embarrassed for the 1st goal . Lead a dance for about 90 yards and didn’t get close once . Pathetic frankly. I promise you Mr Elbow, It’s not an agenda . He just doesn’t do his job well enough far too often. But he ain’t helped . Andersen in front of him was a recipe for disaster. He jogged about like he was playing on the beach with his shirt off . Unacceptable, but Marti has to do better than that . We are missing players and I know there has been a flu bug in the camp where Morgan and Frey among others have been struck down , but we have to be set up better . We have to be drilled better and we have to show some heart and desire to win a poxy football match . It’s like we have tossed off the remaining away games . Unacceptable…from all concerned . Except the fans . Tremendous as usual .

Morrison didn’t start for the same reason Lloyd didn’t - just back from injury and the ‘sports science’ team decide how long they can do. Obviously he didn’t choose to go to Stoke with a 5’4 centre forward..

What's the deal with Morrison? He's been back on the bench for about six weeks now but never available to start. Another player with a fitness record that is just not good enough. Shame as I thought he looked decent earlier in the season. Can't go into next season needing to rely on him and JCS for anything more than 20 games. Recruitment this summer going to be very difficult as there are gaps all over the place.

Glad I brought a mirthless smile to your chops, though comparing me to Barton is pretty low, even for someone like you (who clearly think you're a very nice fellow, which is probably your problem). Still, I'd rather be fractious than complacent.
