Whilst some of the signings may come good in time, recruitment has killed any potential for achieving something this season, and I include the backroom staff in that.
The physio/medical team have massively failed to keep what little resources we do have on the pitch and you'd like to think the club are looking to address that in the summer.

Has their been an official announcement that neither Frey or Kolli are fit then? If that’s the case we really are fcuked. QPR reserves v Cardiff. You left the crucially important Sam Field off the absent list as well. I just realised that you included him in the team. I thought he was out for the season.

This... Have you seen some update on the Frey Koli situation. Please share if you have we're all interested.

Kolli has been affected by a setback What a load of crock
Our physio and fitness teams are APPARENTLY the topz, then Wtf are so many predicted to return and then suffer setbacks
And so many pick up injuries between game
This all seems like BS spin
Our crack team of data recovery people should have recoveries off to a tee.
I don't believe the amount of setbacks - it's a weird smoke screen
If they have so many setbacks in recovery. I sometimes think this is blatant BS
The club thinks it can spin such BS !!!
We are football fans but we are not all dumb. We can read stuff and think that doesn't add up. If this is potentially happening and it's spin that very poor
If it's not spin, then it's also.very poor as the sports injuries and data team are not actually achieving in their job functions at all.
Yang scored from playing on the left (after his bad performances on the right), therefore I am guessing that Marti will start him on the left.
G: Nardi
D: Dunne D: Paal D: Edwards D: Morrison
M: Yang M: Field M: Colback M: Smyth
A: Dembele A: Lloyd
Varane may be in for Field if not ready, which could be the case. And even Lloyd may not start, in which case I would go wild and have a Madsen, as he can pass for at least 5 yards and is 6.4. Force him to play up front and do something.

It’s going to be difficult enough with a virtual reserve team out without handicapping ourselves further by playing with ten men.

It would be interesting to see the stats (we’d never get them , especially true stats) on injuries occurrences in matches and injuries gained out of matches .
Frey, JCS (twice), Dembele, Varane now Kolli and probably many more I’ve forgotten all sustaining injuries away from the fans and not on match days .
So frustrated with so much at the moment

WLS reporting that Kolli has had a setback. He was expected back in training mid-late March. We're now into April, so someone's been telling porkies. He was shown in the training gallery and there was no news from Marti's interview.

Whatever league we are in next season there needs to be a full review of this season’s debacle. I can’t understand how the board think it’s acceptable to employ someone who is Head of Performance to live and work in Dubai. How can there be so many injuries away from matches? Why has the level of recruitment been so poor? The biggest outlay last summer was on a player who spends every game on the bench. This is just poor from the club. We need to find a way to stay up but I fully expect a huge upheaval this summer with recruitment on and off the pitch. We literally have nothing as a club to look forward to each season apart from trying to stay up. It’s appalling when we make no attempt to progress in either of the cups. The side he selected at Leicester summed up the club’s attitude towards the FA Cup.

Surely Lloyd is fit !?
They said Lloyd wasn't fit to start last week but he played at full pelt for 50 minutes
I think he could well have picked up groin strain in training though as he was clearly loaded badly last game.....
Load of.old tosh is my view
Speak in English and yes clear out the data and injury specialists and if you have to have them try not to be bamboozled by big words and focus on what they will actually achieve. This definitely needs monitoring. The injuries are destroying our seasons again !!!

I'm reading it that maybe he had a reaction in training, so was in the pics but maybe had a reaction that means he won't be risked tomorrow? Either way we could do with him ASAP.
Whatever the situation, Bristol Preston and Swansea could have Frey, Kolli, Saito & Field all back in the mix, which would be huge.

It's not news though Is It?
It was agonisingly painfully obvious back In August last year that we had nobody up front.
Never mind unloading players at the end of the season, we need to reorganise our backroom staff.
We do have a few that can be strikers but all of them have massive injury issues consistently Ted
Frey., Kolli, Lloyd and Celar all out or hampered in recovery and only striker is Kelman who is out on loan obviously.
I.understand we get strikers cheaper sometimes because they can be decent but often injured but crikey we did well to sell both non strikers in Dykes and Armstrong but replaced with like for like....
We could put Dunne up top. Decent target man but then it's likely we have Ashby on the right in defence.
Put Edwards up front. He scored with a header and seems to have played well in a few positions already........
That's an attempt at sarcasm BTW just in case anyone reads that differently...
