Few interesting bits on his time with QPR. Seemed to really rate Holloway, tells some funny stories about him, at the end in particular. Apparently QPR was the peak of his earnings as well, he was on 1m per year.

It does seem a lot, but at least he knew how to score goals, many before and since have earnt decent money without scoring anything like him.

It also explains why he was sold.
That's a fair point, he would've been one of of the highest earners then for sure. His style wasn't for me, but he did come up with a few important goals.
