The situation out in Iran can go a number of ways, the Americans and the Israelis control the skies and a lot of the water, but if they have to put boots on the ground in Iran it could prove to be a real mess. It’s almost impossible to reason with someone who’s prepared to die for their cause/beliefs, so on top of snipers, mines, IEDs, conventional forces there’s also suicide bombers. The IRGC is believed to be 200,000 strong and there’s the Basij Militia which is approx 600,000 strong - that’s a lot of headbangers/ radicles / nutters or whatever you want to call them.
It could end up another Afghanistan type scenario or worse.
