Tottenham 1 Saints 3 in 1990 for me
I was 15 and went with my old man, we were in the end pen standing on the park lane end.
My one abiding memory is Barry Horne putting us 2 up just before half time and being swept off my feet in the proper old school limbs on the terrace. Fantastic

Attendance 42,256...I would swear 25,000 of those were Saints..never seen so many coaches end to end leaving the glorious South.
We got in 10 mins after k.o. and we were lucky.

Watford semi final, cracking day out, had to get a train down from Manchester as I’d been to a wedding the day before, was still hammered when I woke up and continued to get more hammered, great pub pre match and I got a bit emotional at the end the thought of an fa cup final then I remember not knowing how long to celebrate as they were playing celebratory songs after the match, I think I’d hit the wall. |  |

1 - 1984 Skates (A) No contest, the sheer joy of celebrating that late goal has probably never been beaten. Long’s goal at Anfield in the LC SF came close but for me that was the best. I wore a cream coloured ski jacket to Fratton Park so I can still see me celebrating on the TV replays!
2 - 1984 Sheffield Wednesday (H) Q/F Replay. Brilliant game, after an awful 0-0 draw at Hillsbrough this game could not have been more different. We were superb, the final score was 5-1 and could easily have been more. Try finding the highlights though, Lawrie Mac had a huge row with the TV company due to cover the match and banned the cameras!
3 - 1976 Aston Villa (A) 3rd Round Replay. Nobody gave us a chance after scraping a draw at The Dell on the previous Saturday afternoon. We just would not be beaten that night, we took the game to Villa early on and went 1-0 up with a Jim McCalliog header from a superb Channon run and cross on the half hour mark. Not long after a rare error from David Peach let Villa back into the game. Not daunted, we dug in second half and frustrated Villa who wanted at least 3 pens! Ref was having nine of it so we carried on tackling hard and Villa carried on moaning… Took the game to ET and Jim McCallloig stunned Villa Park with his second of the night to send Saints on their way to Wembley. Without that performance none of the memories from May 1st 1976 would have happened. |  | | |

Top game has to be Skates away 1984, as Nick said, not a game fpr the faint hearted - certainly no bubble bollox, just a day for the brave and sturdy! I didn't get my voice back properly until the following Thursday celebrating THAT goal.
Second up from the '76 Cup run West Brom [H] 5th Round Replay. won 4-0 with a Channon hat trick after the opener from Gilchrist. Looks one sided but as daft as this sounds West Brom were excellent, the difference was Channon, simple as that. Didn't even begin to relax a bit until it was 3-0, excellent game.
In Third place, a toss up between the two Semi Finals, for me 2003 at Villa Park by a short head, Not just the game but a great weekend, A whole group of the London Saints went up for the weekend staying Sat & Sun nights, great result, great weekend. We'd got a good group travel deal on Virgin trains so went 1st class for the free booze! When we came back on the Monday the stewardess just parked a catering trolley stacked full of beers and miniatures at the end of our carriage and said help yourselves, we took it back when it was empty and she refilled it - twice! First and only time and on-board stewardess has got a tip! |  | | |

Denis Law completely muffed a header from close range but the damn ball somehow dropped at his feet and he toe-poked it in for the only goal.

1976 Semi at Stamford Bridge.
I had a seat in the opposite stand to the main stand and can still see Paul Gilchrist’s shot arrow past the Palace keeper into the net and hear the noise from our fans in the shed. Shortly afterwards Micky Channon fell over outside the box but with no V A R the ref gave a penalty which David Peach blasted down the middle of the goal with even greater noise from our fans.
I remember talking to a group of Palace fans after the game and they were very gracious in defeat.One young lad was close to tears so I hope he stuck with them to see them win at Wembley last season.
Worst F A Cup match ? Without doubt losing to Everton at Highbury closely followed by Liverpool at White Hart Lane. The first because of Adrian Heath and the second by Mark Wright breaking his leg in a collision with Peter Shilton.

Yes, that was great. Some of the best Saints away support ever. The replay was great too. That was the noisiest the Dell ever was. The crowd really helped Saints beat a Forest team that was going to become the best in Europe. In stark contrast to our massive support up there, there were no Forest fans on the terraces at the Dell. There was just a small group sitting in the Upper West Stand, , who kept very quiet until they scored. . | |

Yes I went to this game, probably the loudest away support I’ve ever been in. The whole Trent end was covered annd rammed with saints fans and we made a hell of a racket. Everyone wanted to travel in those days following our FA cup win . | |

The Blackburn game I remember, we played in an all red kit and Ruben Agboola did a ridiculous goal line clearance and then Armstrong scored the only goal.

My favourite FA Cup Game was the quarter final, first replay, Saints v Nottingham Forest at The Dell, 1963. 3-0 down, and we fought back to 3-3.
I was 11yrs old, making my way to The Dell directly from School. Queued to get into Archers Rd end, and got a place directly behind the Goal. I've never experienced anything like that night. The whole ground truly rocked.
I saw every Cup game that year, apart from the Forest 1-1 draw away.
My Grandad took me to White Hart Lane for the second replay. My Dad took me to Birmingham for the semi final.
I was the year of the big freeze, and I remember helping to clear ice off the Milton terraces in an earlier round.
