Middlesboro's statement today about wanting us thrown out is utterly embarrassing & reeks of desperation. I'm pretty sure the EFL inquiry won't take it lightly that Boro are trying to influence the decision - at least I hope they don't. It's a bit like a player waving an imaginary card to get an opposition player booked or sent off - only on a much grander scale of course.
Either way, Boro are just embarrassing themselves & coming across as desperate cry-babies. I really, really hope that should the worst happen & we do get disqualified from the final - the EFL, somehow, have the power to automatically award Hull City automatic promotion by default and a team that couldn't beat us fairly & squarely over the two legs on a football pitch, i.e. Middlesboro, do not get the opportunity to replace us. |  |
