This is the question that everyone is thinking. Can he sit in the stand, as it would be a "touchline" ban? If so, he would then be able to be in the dressing room. So that woukd be fine wouldn't it. Or is it a ban from management for a few weeks, so he can't then train them?

If it's a personal sanction (FA can't sanction the club, only individuals) then surely it shouldn't affect the club in any way? Therefore all they can do is fine him. Touchline bans/kicking him out of the league at this late stage would again be a club punishment as well. |  |

I’ve been checking on google to see what action the FA took with Leeds and Bielsa (who admitted on spying on every opponent), just to find out a presedence.
It appears they didn't do anything, so not sure why they should be looking at Eckert at all or give him any additional fine or suspension, as they as far as I’m aware, unlike the EFL, have not changed their rules on watching opponents training, and it is still acceptable in Premier League. |  | | |

They are drawn from a small pool, who will all know each other as they frequently work together so it would be no surprise if the punishment meted out were another harsh one. Sport Solutions would not want them appearing to disagree over the same issue. | |
