I cannot believe he was just a random, unexpected transfer that very little of us knew about. I also cannot believe he went so under the radar for other teams that we just scooped him up with ease.
His pace itself is enough to seem him a Championship quality player, but now he seems to have added hold up play and finishing, and just always seems to be in the right position. And he just never stops running!
If we are looking to start selling players for £15m/20m +, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being the first.

His game has developed over the past year, much more of a rounded forward now. Hold up play, aerial duels, lay offs and of course pace.
Should really have had a hatrick tonight. If he carries on like this, he’ll be a very saleable asset.

He didn't; Plymouth were in for him for £1m.
That's what alerted us to the fact that he was available, so we bid £1.2m, offered the Championship, not L1, and gazumped them. Also, we are in London, so no big move for him.
When he signed, his agent was on socials bragging that it was a 5-year deal.
I am guessing it's 4+1 on our side.
So, he could be locked contract-wise for the next 4 years, as he's only in his 2nd year now. |  |

Great to have him back fit again, from the first time I saw him coming on as a sub against Preston 1st game last season, could see he had something about him. Fantastic battling forward performance last night and great composed finish with pace for the second goal. We just need to get Kone up to speed so to speak now. |  | | |

Yes, Lblock. The coaching rarely gets a mention, but one of the reasons for Julien Stephan being appointed was his known ability to bring on young players. Kevin Betsy, also mentioned here, must contribute, too. I do not pretend to know how all this is done in periods when we play six games in 15 days - and just getting the team recovered and prepared for the next match has to be the priority - but somehow it is being achieved. | | | |

I really like Burrell's mentality- when he joined he talked about his career progression and how willing he was to learn and adapt. And we're seeing it.
Hands up, I had him down as fast and limited, albeit very pleasantly surprised by his poachers instinct. I think already this season we're seeing an improved all round player.
