Young players are often injury prone for various reasons. Only way to find out if he's grown out of that is to play him. Thought it was poor from Stefan to select him from nowhere against a side like west ham when he's not been on the bench previous games .


I don't think the injuries to Burrell, Kone, Lloyd and Obikwu gave him too many alternatives. Who else can play striker?

Kolli started because JS had very limited options, very limited, if he didn't want to disrupt other positions within the Team. Kolli was average most of the night, gave the ball away & failed to cope with the physically of the West Ham defenders.

I agree with the first bit and partly with the second. He did give the ball away too many times but did try and battle the centre backs. He didn't wilt and it was a really tough ask up there on his own. I'd stretch to a six for him.

Kolli did fine but wasn't outstanding in a team performance that was excellent for 70 minutes. Didn't quite get hold of the one good shot he had.
