Not the overall result we were hoping for, but let’s give it some time.
I am particularly disappointed with Smith’s loan, thought he was a decent prospect and could have hugely benefit from a loan deal where he could play a lot. Seen as a prospect for the SA national team also, this move is really halting his progress.

I remain convinced that several of them would be better off being here, training and mixing with the first team, maybe being named as a sub now and again and playing regularly for the Devt Squad.

If it doesn't change for some of them by January, recall them, train with the squad and research more suitable loans, if our injury situation allows.

The word from Worthing fans is that C.A.B is, and I quote, "far better than our (Worthing's) level and he'll be a player" Good to hear.
Morgan's situation really surprises me. It feels like a wasted few months for him and I'd sooner we had kept him around the gaff even if just for the odd cameo or fill in; even that is better than what he's getting at the moment. Maybe it's case of his face doesn't fit, he's not comfortable oop North and being away has knocked him sideways? It happens with young 'un's. If nothing else I hope the experience gives him more steel and determination to make it here.
For the others I'd hope Big Phil can get some 1st team minutes soon.
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I think it's more to do with Bradofrd having been on an upward tick for a while and having better players. I would expect to see them in the champonship in the next few years.
But we should recall Morgan and get him somewhere else playing regular football, even it it's league 2.
It is also a warning that we need to be careful not to overhype young players. The club don't help themselves with this either. That premier league cup win looks pretty average now.
Morgan gets to play from 69th minute in the cup game. Now in the quarter finals of the EFL Cup after they beat Peterborough 2-0. We can only dream.

I watched this game from about 10 minutes before Morgan came on. He did well, some crisp first time passes, won a couple of tackles and a header. He had a good chance to shoot but played a team mate in on goal who fluffed it. Bradford should have won by more as their finishing was very poor.

That’s good news. Sounds like he did okay tonight.

Adjetey-Brew is their second top scorer at the minute and has a couple of assists too. Scoring 1 in 3 from left back (4 of them in the last 3 games) is pretty impressive and they seem to love him there. Playing the full 90 every week too. Very promising stuff.

Great to see him doing so well but this is non-league, bring him back soon and loan out to league 1 or 2 and see if he can progress there.

Got to feel for Walsh. Our number one last season and now he can't get a game for the worst team in League One.
Look, he’s a nice lad but it’s professional sports. He’s not been good enough for Wigan. He wasn’t good enough for us. You don’t need to feel sorry for anyone in football, he’s not been unfairly treated - he’s been given a lot of opportunities and proven he’s not up to it

Apparently Brewdog is playing out on the left wing rather than at left back for Worthing recently and that is where the goals are coming from. Having a Gareth Bale-esque transformation

Wasn't convincing though, was he?
Whatever has happened at Wigan, its extremely unlikely he'll play for us again. Indeed, if he did, it'd be a worry. Not sure how long he's got on his contract with us, but hopefully from our perspective: not beyond this season!
Now when we signed him, he was hailed as a prospect and as I recall, he joined up for England training or something. To what extent his lack of progress is down to us is what needs addressing so that we tighten up on development of players.
Anyway good luvk to him as he's clearly at a crossroads in his career.
