"The Four Year Plan" -
A Comedy and Horror Movie accidentally rolled into one.
"Who is the captain these days? Those fans booing me, I want their names"

"Kind Hearts and Coronets" - as above ..... but intended to be that way.
"I shot an arrow in the air - she fell to earth in Berkley Square"
"I was sorry about the girl, but found some relief in the reflection that she had presumably during the weekend already undergone a fate worse than death".

"North By North West" - as above .... but sex thrown in as well - plus even more memorable lines.

"How does a girl like you get to be a girl like you?"
"Just lucky I guess"

"When I was a little boy, I wouldn't even let my mother undress me".
"Well, you're a big boy now".

"I'm a big girl now".
"Yes, and in all the right places"

"Now, what can a man do with his clothes off for twenty minutes? Couldn't he have taken an hour?"
"You could always take a cold shower".

"Tell me, why are you so good to me?"
"Shall I climb up and tell you why?"

Beat them - all winners!

So, so, many to choose from and different reasons but I have to go with these based simply on the impact they had on me rather than how good they are considered;

Star Wars - The original one in 1977. As a 10 year old, I was utterly bamboozled by it

The Pianist - utter waste of life and treatment of human being during WWII yet dignity still maintained by the victims.

Saving Private Ryan - awesome opening half hour, captures the sheer horror of the D-Day landings. Superb through a surround sound system.

I have It's A Wonderful Life, The Kings Speech and Downfall on DVD and still yet to see them along with about 30 other films I've yet to watch including classics such as Citizen Kane etc.

a prophet was a class film.

I don't get the whole clockwork orange thing though. I just found it so weird. Same with midnight cowboy. Never did it for me.
