I concur re. Stratford. For those of us who grew up in the old country and have the 'misfortune' of having to return occasionally for the faaaaamily, this is standard practice (I actually do love the place having lived away from it for over 25 years). Doesn't always work out, and I'm sure the capitalist rail operators are well aware what they're doing, but do give it a go. Sometimes (although someone has commented on this) a single to Manningtree, with a further onward single to Ipswich works out cheaper, but as someone mentioned, the group discount is alao a great shout. |  | | |

I can’t see 3,000 tickets being snapped up for a meaningless end of season 12.30 ko that will probably be on tv anyway.They are unlikely to reduce prices to encourage people to attend,so I reckon it will be about £35-£40 a ticket. | | | |

And it's mainly cheaper if you split the ticket. Ipswich to Colchester & Colchester to Liverpool Street. This is slightly cheaper than using Manningtree instead of Colchester.

I just looked at their website and the Cobbold stand opposite end to us is £43 for adults,£34 for over 65,£24 for U23 and £14 for U19.That’s why is a grade A game which I guess ours will be.
The lower tier prices are £38,£29,£23 and £13. | | | |
