Warburton’s Scottish bargain buys did well today |
It was an all round great teamwork performance. Kelly looked very assured in goal. Cameron and Masterton looked like they had played together for years, Kane got better as the game wore on and really clicked with BOS, Wallace was excellent defensively and linked well with Pugh and in attack and Ball and Scowen held the midfield. Ball for me and is getting better and better every game. And the front three just gave Swansea’s defence an absolute pasting. | |

Scowen's was better but Wallace's was more important (given the flow of the game).
The way Scowen brought the ball down to create space for himself and then lashed the ball in first time was masterful. He doesn't score often but he has had some thundering close things. Delighted for him to get such a great goal. I thought he did very well today and deserves a bit of glory. |  |

I don't think it's as black and white as 'doesn't rate him' (it rarely is). Scowen has had a couple of decent runs in the side this season, but not been brilliant. Those midfield spots behind our attackers are up for grabs for sure. Love Scowen, though, and suspect he's been very frustrated with not getting more game time. |  |
