Coach being the operative word. Was seen as quite the guru before he struck out on his own, remember Leeds fans being gutted he didn't inherit the reigns. Some decidedly shady looking signings during both his gigs to further cloud matters.

Birmingham had a 9 point deduction last season. They're not in line for it again this year.

Hi Ian, in respect of Birmingham it looks as if the EFL have reset the clock & said there is a limit of £13m this season, then £26m over 2 and the rolling £39m over three seasons kicks in in 2021/22 and carries forward from there.

The EFL are however having a third bite of the cherry at their flimsy and unfair case against them for their selling players on their own terms instead of firesale-ing. In the unlikely event they're eventually found guilty that would result in a points deduction.
