Only the midweek and selected games will be on Sky though mate. I am thinking just pay for the ones that aren't on sky at a tenner a time which isn't bad imo.

I'd usually take the pis out your 'sky is falling' routine but I'm starting to dread what football looks like on the other side of this. Potentially almost like Rugby league in Australia, where there's an elite top league of 16 teams with no relegation, and then just semi pro competitions below that.

What does that cost you? I am Silver but a youthfull 56.
Season Ticket Update on 13:10 - Sep 25 with 4353 views | LoftusR | I was wondering about the streaming thing. It did say something like reviewing free streaming for ST holders. I think that will be withdrawn and as stated we will be on a full PPV basis. Again probably a tenner per match as the club need some income. I assume that for those who have paid in full we will just get our money back. As mentioned by Clive and others this could well be the end of regular match day attendance for many what ever happens next.

A Silver over 60 ST with loyalty bonus if £279 Which is only just over £12 per game, so a tenner for a stream doesn't look that appealing. In fact let's think about it, we've all moaned for a while (I have anyway) that football is too expensive and isn't a working mans game anymore, and if say £20.00 is reasonable for a live game experience with all the atmosphere, meeting up with people at the ground etc, then £10.00 for a sterile watch it at home on your computer is a relatively pi$$ poor deal.

I pay by DD and so haven't actually parted with any money yet. But I wonder what the legal implications are for those that have actually stumped up, can QPR break the deal offered?

I think you'll see Premier League, Championship and then regionalised leagues below that. If they don't finish the season in League 1 and 2 then I imagine the Championship will limp on and then start next season with 21 teams, relegate 3 and take on 2 more so they have 20 and effectively become PL 2

I would have to disagree. Sure, there is no atmosphere but that is not the clubs fault. I think a tenner a game is pitched just right. It is still less than you would pay albeit for a lesser experience and unless they charge something like that they will lose an even bigger amount than they do anyway.

What deal? The one that has been taken out of their hands by a government directive?

problem will be they are likely to have to give full refund for season tickets if we can't go and give those streams for free so they might think refunding now and then charging for streams is a better option. Then if they do say we can go again whoever had a season ticket can get first refusal on buying tickets for going again
Season Ticket Update on 13:54 - Sep 25 with 4157 views | daveB | For what it's worth I think the club should offer fans 2 options now to either refund season ticket and you then pay for streams or stick with the season ticket with no refund but the streams free for all home games so you lose money but if you can afford it and are happy to give the club the money that's up to the individual

This was always on the cards, and the club took a gamble with a generous offer. I'm not saying I hope the club get punished in any way I'm just wondering what the legal implications are of offering a deal, taking the money and then trying to change that deal - I'm curious that's all, as I say it won't affect me I haven't paid yet.

I'm sue you could do this at any time, buy just giving the club some money I'm sure they won't turn it down.

The Bubble thing doesnt really work for me and the main person i go with. despite the best efforts of the club, I think i will have to go with the refund and pay per view, their certainly doesnt look like there is going to be balloting now this site if Christmas. Personally I think a tenner is ok providing the quality of the stream is good, I dont think the club has any wriggle room on pricing as its apparently set by the EFL/Platform provider

Season Ticket Update on 15:26 - Sep 25 with 3836 views | marky67 | the present streaming deal has been set by the e.f.l rather than the club so i would imagine they would have to wait for further guidence from them before they can conduct their own review.

Another option would be a 'stream season ticket' where the cost drops down to an amount that covers the stream for all home games that can be streamed. £10 x what is it 21 or so? = £220 for the stream ST. So you'd be committing to paying for the stream either up front or monthly - club gets more stable revenue than adhoc payments every week and its an easier gesture for us to make than wave the whole £66 a month (in my case anyway). Plus (and sorry to be negative but it's hardly impossible) if the season starts going down the toilet people will be more likely to just leave that lesser direct debit alone whereas logging on and paying a tener to watch a losing run may not exactly bring in a lot of revenue.
