Ben Dover was staying at the hotel when I got married. I didn't know who he was but most of the groom's friends seemed to.

Putin wasn't there though...

I'm glad to have seen the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort and the Ocean.

I don't like to wish people ill normally but I hope Putin dies soon before he can cause any more global unrest and hurt any more innocent people.

My dad and my uncle hired contractors to give refits to offices for all and sundry back in the day.

I saw Gun's 2 Roses a few years ago at Tufnell Park and special guest on drums for 'Rocket Queen' was Ben Dover.

Decent drummer, I think he used to be in a glam rock band.

I was having a ciggie outside and he was being interviewed nearby and a car pulled up at the lights and the window came down 'It's Ben Dover oi oi' very surreal.

They used to read: An Office And A Gentlemen but were changed to: Any Orifice And Gentlemen. He had the last laugh however, did a roaring trade among friends of Dorothy throughout the 60s.

I was the one who was by the BBQ bemoaning the poor quality of British baps, when Joyce came along and said, ‘Oh I dunno love, Vic says my baps are ample!’

The place erupted with laughter and Joyce and I wrote a draft script for ‘Carry on BBQ’ but the Beeb said they wanted to go in a different direction.

I saw a tiger in the wild too Dave. Amazing experience. The whole teeming, noisy wildlife around us went dead quiet and it emerged from the undergrowth, gave us a disdainful look and padded off.
