Coffee always, black and strong.

However, you cannot call coffee with breakfast American. Americans cannot make coffee, full stop. They have some abomination they call coffee and Europeans and Asians laugh at them by creating something called "Americano" to satisfy these poor individuals from the other side of the pond. Ask a Central or South American or, if you want a true answer about coffee, an Italian or and Australian. That is where the real stuff is.

Tea for me. Waitrose Assam or M&S Luxury Blend.

I drink both but always coffee in the morning.

The tea and coffee I drink have to be Fairtrade. I've seen firsthand the difference it makes to farmers.

Sounds like you're a creature of habit. Bit like my wife - she gets up at 7.35 everyday, brushes her teeth and sharpens her tongue.

Strong tea ,milk and two sugars is my drink of choice these days. Although first drink of the day is a strong coffee, one sugar.

Occasional providers of half decent House music.

Guatemalan coffee to kick start the day.
Only then can you contemplate the perusal of the true horror that is yesterday's result(s).

Coffee smells absolutely lovely, tastes absolutely disgusting.

A good cup of tea: strong with a dash of milk. Looks awful but brewed correctly is delicious. No sugar.

With either a bourbon or a dark chocolate biscuit.

Tea. Strong with Truvia, quantity depends on the size of the beverage, which is always large.

Rarely drink coffee, but in response to our Australian correspondent, it appears to me you can buy whatever type of that bean and drink it whatever way you like in this country.

We've been availing ourselves of Taylors Of Harrogate orange and Lemon black tea in the office.

Rather splendid. Dash of milk and refreshes ones palate at tiffin.

Coffee for me in the mornings and then tea in the afternoon.

The wife bought me a Nespresso machine for my birthday a few years back and what with the working from home since 2020, its been the best thing kitchen appliance ever. Lidls fo their own brand of pods for it which are a lot cheaper than the official Nespresso ones and just as good in my humble opinion. 2 Nepressos every morning without fail and I'm good to go.

I never knew that - we put our Nespresso away as the pods were too pricey.

Coffee first thing and tea later. I leave the bag in. Filth!

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Lidls do 3 different levels of strength but they sell a box of 20 for less than £4. Can't go wrong.
Sainsbury or Tesco will often sell them on a promotion, usually 10 for @2.50 for a well known brand when that's on.

I went into John Lewis the other week to kill a bit of time while waiting for an MOT. Had a look around the Nespresso machines, they have so many flavours and variations of pods. Asked the girl how much for a pack of 10, nearly a fiver. Told her I get my pods at Lidls, she nearly called security...
