| Random things: whats in your fridge? 18:01 - Aug 19 with 9186 views | enfieldargh | Watched the 1930's Hitchcock 39 Steps Scene where Richard Hannay(Robert Donat) is in his flat with the mysterious European Spy who is taking shelter from other ruthless spies . He suggests she stay the night and she says shes hungry. He goes to the fridge and only has a piece of raw Haddock. He then proceeds to fry the wet fish and then once cooked serves it to the woman. I looked in the fridge in my garage earlier and found half a bottle of flat coke two bottles of carlsberg a scarf set of spark plugs for a ford fiesta The Carlsburg has now been consumed | |

A similar array of condiments, usually of a hot and/or spicy variety. There is a product I always have but in many of the places I've lived in the world, it's either unavailable or woeful. Consequently, my stow-luggage out of LHR contained a few jars of piccalilli. Alas, given how close I now am to the UK, the piccalilli offering is poor. So a few weeks back, I made my own! Thus in pride of place in our fridge is a jar of...'Planethonneywood's Gentleman's Hot Piccalilli'. And you know what, it ain't too bad as first efforts go! | |
