| Scorching first half enough to see through QPR's latest City win - Report on 20:40 - Oct 2 with 4022 views | Noelmc | Thanks Clive. Fantastic report. I hope you enjoyed writing it as much as I did reading it. Sounds like a great day out for the R's faithful. | | | |

City fans see us a bit differently though, this is from the BBC match comments, and I quote; “ QPR full of lumps with pace but no skill. Neither will get close to the top.”

Absolutely typical losing fan comments, along with "worst team we've played all season" etc.

| I need a SAGA. What’s the SAGA? It’s ….. Queen’s Park Rangers. |

| Scorching first half enough to see through QPR's latest City win - Report on 13:26 - Oct 3 with 2359 views | Noelmc | I hope all the R's fans collecting on the 'emotional insurance' Nahki Wells to score bets, had a wide smile as it was heading for a throw in when it deflected off Balogun. How that was credited to him, I will never know! | | | |

That'll surely go down as an OG when it's looked at properly. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Anyone got a similar picture of the goal which was ruled out for offside? Hearing it wasn't offside and should have stood but haven't seen a picture of it and it wasn't included on the highlights

The full 90 minutes now up. There's a replay around 44/45 minutes where it looks like he's marginally off. Maybe his knee is ahead of the defender.

is it worth saying that that photo doesn't prove anything? It's awful. Bloke in the middle could easily be playing him on.

AND my old complaint about VAR - look at the ball - wind that back/forward a frame or two and it will still look like the moment the pass was made, although of Paal and the defender(s) positions will change. Anything that tight should always be called ONside in my view, with VAR. Without VAR its just human opinion/judgement, which I STILL prefer.

This was the thing TV pundits never acknowledged during their "one replay would have sorted all this out" pre-VAR rhetoric. Not only does the referee you're slagging off only get one look at it, and can't freeze frame, but even when you do freeze-frame it and look at it from every angle you'd often still get one pundit who said it was on and one who said it was off.

One for the statisticians on here perhaps, what is our away following as a percentage of our home support? We are very well attended away despite only having our manager and new players since June? I saw yesterday that Beale is the 11th longest serving Championship manager now Cheers Watford.

The guy who annoys me more than anyone with this change of 'stance' is Gary Linekar. He was saying exactly that pre VAR, he even did a 'puff piece' sycophantic interview with FIFA, just to tell everyone how wonderful it was going to be. Now on MOTD, its all rolling eyes and "VAR again, eh Alan?" A FEW, Sunderland obviously!, are clearly wrong, with not much to excuse them, but the vast majority are correct or like this one too close to say 100% one way or the other. BUT 'football' won't accept that, so we're going down the ludicrous path of AI automatic ARs being trialled - madness!

Yes, it has been good enough for over 150 years, so, 'if it aint broke don't fix it!'
