The Dark Arts 11:50 - Mar 17 with 3049 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Was talking to my AFC Wimbledon supporting boss yesterday regarding Ainsworth. His comment was that Wycombe were renowned for it in L1, the Dom fans would sing to opposition fans Are you Wycombe in disguise. They hated all the usual shithousing and complained The Don's never did it. Wimbledon now have Johnnie Jackson in charge and they have started the shithousery, and the Don's fans are not happy. So should QPR employ the dark arts or not?

Shouldn't need that many points hopefully.
The Dark Arts on 12:41 - Mar 17 with 2825 views | slmrstid | Whilst everyone else does it, yes you have to. Otherwise its just the same old soft as sht Rangers. There's a very good argument to say they shouldn't exist, shouldn't need to exist, but that'd need to be everyone stamping it out, whilst one does it so does everyone else. I don't enjoy watching it, but I don't enjoy continually watching us roll over getting our tummies tickled either.
The Dark Arts on 12:53 - Mar 17 with 2778 views | Monkey_Roots | For the rest of this season we need to employ whatever it takes to avoid relegation. Long term? I hope not. I'm hoping for a wonderful blend of win at all costs and sparkling football.
The Dark Arts on 13:01 - Mar 17 with 2731 views | NorthantsHoop | It's what we did last week against Watford and I enjoyed it, unfortunately against Blackpool out of the game after 15 mins and no chance. Whatever gets us over the line, it's a needs must at the moment.

Clearly didn’t start shithousing early enough!

That's a good point. At kick-off somebody should have collapsed with cramp.

The Dark Arts on 14:04 - Mar 17 with 2496 views | Monkey_Roots | I have noticed the new norm of Field going down injured in every game recently — I wonder if that's a tactic to stop the momentum, allow GA to get in the players ears etc? Our change in tactic to go long and sh!thouse at every opportunity during the Watford game didn't go unnoticed by our opponents it seems. They'll know how we're going to play, and they'll react accordingly — Blackpool changing 6 players was probably a reaction to that. It's probably a lot easier to deal with the long ball than it is to account for players capable of individual brilliance... unfortunately, we don't really have any of those on the pitch at the moment.

That's probably just as well
| "Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1." |

Not me though…..OK maybe for a game or two when we're really really desperate but it worries me to hear GA employed these tactics season long. There is so much wrong with the modern game.
The Dark Arts on 18:18 - Mar 17 with 2072 views | LowerloftLad | Next season maybe as ainsworth will get to sign his own players This side are so soft I'm not sure there actually capable of playing that style of football.

I got the impression Wycombe were the equivalent of PNE in L1.
The Dark Arts on 18:39 - Mar 17 with 2038 views | VancouverHoop | So should QPR employ the dark arts or not? We should do whatever we legally can to win a match. Back in the day The Corinthians used to refuse penalty kicks because they were "unsporting." We'd laugh at that today, but basically if you want to win at any sport you'll do what the rules allow otherwise you're going to lose a lot. "Gamesmanship" should be penalised on the field of play, or the rules changed to allow it. For example official time outs, like water breaks, could be introduced. With more stringent penalties for exceeding them.

I don't know but my gut feeling is that Field is playing through an injury. Hopefully, if that is the case he can manage it, keep going until the end of the season and then rest and recover for next season. Last season Johansen was going down every game and it turned out he did have an injury, maybe still does. He often doesn't last the 90 though, unlike Field so far.
