Another thread of incredible importance 10:16 - May 20 with 1613 views | bosh67 | * The QPR blue? What actually is it? Is it royal blue? A lot of our kits in the 70s and 80s had a much darker blue than it is now. We had a phase of lighter blues in the 90s and then a darker blue in the Tango and Cash era. Now we seem to have gone back to a lighter blue as the actual QPR blue. Personally I prefer a darker blue as it is closer to what I remember as a kid. That said, I wouldn't care if the players came out in their own clothes next season as long as they actually play some decent football. What is the QPR blue? * I don't get out much!

Well the original kit was described as half Cambridge blue (light) and half Oxford blue (dark) so either or and all points between. And for the next few years the shade of blue was green.

I then proceeded to bore her half stupid how I never wore red especially growing up as most of the top teams wore red, especially cup finals. Rarely saw a blue team till that lot beat villa one year.
