* The QPR blue? What actually is it? Is it royal blue? A lot of our kits in the 70s and 80s had a much darker blue than it is now. We had a phase of lighter blues in the 90s and then a darker blue in the Tango and Cash era. Now we seem to have gone back to a lighter blue as the actual QPR blue. Personally I prefer a darker blue as it is closer to what I remember as a kid.

That said, I wouldn't care if the players came out in their own clothes next season as long as they actually play some decent football.

What is the QPR blue?

* I don't get out much!

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Can't help on the blue but the white is Farrow & Ball's 'Narwahl Jism', if that helps?

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

BLUE
PANTONE: PMS 7685 C
RGB: (29, 91, 164)
CMYK: (93, 70, 4, 0)

Not convinced by the CMYK conversion but that’s what it says on the tin.

Well the original kit was described as half Cambridge blue (light) and half Oxford blue (dark) so either or and all points between.

And for the next few years the shade of blue was green.

I see it more as Mediterranean Azure. Then again, my hair isn’t grey, it’s Anthracite Melange

True story and this thread reminded me.

Many moons ago I was in the Ellerslie road stand and noticed a tin of paint lying around. The colour of the tins contents very clearly visible ‘ch3/s%a blue.

I've always thought that the best shade of blue we have ever worn was, unfortunately, Chelsea Blue.

The grass is always greener.

I was wearing a red v neck t shirt the other day, my only one. Wife said I and it looked nice.
I then proceeded to bore her half stupid how I never wore red especially growing up as most of the top teams wore red, especially cup finals.

Rarely saw a blue team till that lot beat villa one year.
