The Seb Polter of cheeses. German, strong, eccentric, and likely to give you a heart attack.

Expensive, stroke-inducing ersatz cheese replacement snacks. The Andre Dozzell of cheese, if you will.

Edit: I used to eat these, back in the 90s, whilst nursing a raging hangover, watching Mystery Science Theatre 3000 every Sunday. Until the bastards at Morrissons stopped stocking them. Bastards.

Bleu D'Auvergne (France)
White Stilton (England)
Manchego (Spain)
Gruyere (Switzerland)
Danish Blue (Denmark)
Mature Gouda (Holland)

Just been eating some of that out of the fridge!
Love pretty much all cheese though, probably any blue cheese for me especially Stilton!

It’s the most over processed and unhealthy cheese you can get outside the US, but it tastes great.

You can say the same about almost anything that claims to be smoked…salmon, haddock, almonds, bacon. Artificial but irresistible.

Oooooh, forget to mention rauchbier.

Well, you know what they say…..there's no smoke without salmon.

We stayed on a farm on the Isle of Arran for our holiday recently and there was a cheese "factory" - a converted milking shed - five metres from our front door. There were samples of their work in our welcome pack and the Arran blue was immense!

I was in Switzerland last week and was reminded at an amazing meal why Gruyere is just SO good.

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

Stilton is the clear favourite for me , melted stilton on a bacon roll or sandwich is heaven. As for double Gloucester cheese, I think it should be banned as it's an insult to cheese.id rather eat Gordon Brown's ear wax than touch that sh1t.

Gruyere, alternately the Black Bomber brand of cheddar is mouthwatering stuff.

Hospitalised after 5 plates of Antipasto, only the cheese and the meats. Gallbladder just gave up surprisingly.

I'm using cheddar again under supervision. 2 cracker limit with a little chutney.

I’m still a mature cheddar man, tried Feta again in Greece, just don’t get it, like eating chalk.

As a former long time Dairy Crest employee who dealt with farmers and supply chain I'm going for the Vintage Davidstow 36 month. Tangy with a slight crunch. Lovely.

Poll: How is Nourry cooking so far ? 🤣
