Top of the table. That shouldn't be something to celebrate, though. The real point is to bring players through to 1st team standard. Maybe, as we should hope, there's a handful coming through who will be good enough.

Yes, good to see the Dev squad doing well but I have wondered if we have more first team players making appearances than other U21 teams that we play.

The lesser-spotted Richards and playing football too!

I had forgotten all about him, I wonder if will ever remember him ... I mean who? ... what?

Lets hope he's not this seasons most expensive signing ... oops!

zzzzzzzzzz

Agree but balance around game time, fitness, letting the kids learn, means more togetherness? Ironically with our short injury list it’s the only games some are going to get in the immediate future. Mind you some of the 1st team squad are in that transition. Despite all the stick good to see Taylor Richards get on a pitch

Yeah agree. I was more thinking about whether our Development squad set up gives us an advantage over U21 sides as we seem to have 1st team members playing most games.

Good to see Alfie Lloyd firing again after his long injury lay off.

Tends more to be players that have appeared in the first team. How many of that team today would be classed as starters?
