Just received something, not sure if posted on recent Barbet thread. Apparently, since leaving QPR, he's scored more goals (10) than any other QPR player (Dykes 9).

It was a difficult one with Barbet. Fantastic player for us but wanted to bring up his young family in France. Not a lot the club could do to stand in the way of that and fair enough. Family first. |  |

She can't park their Land Rover. Saw her drop him off at the ground one time and the poor sod had to get an Uber between the car and the kerb. Certain other talents though. | | | |

Barbet was a neighbour of mine so often saw him around the area in parks / playgrounds etc. Was always very chatty and loved living in London. He had a really nice young lad. He was never offered a new deal by us so once it got towards the end of the season he had little choice but to move back to France. He definitely wanted to stay. But a really nice guy and absolutely loved playing for us. | | | |
