Go back to 15/16 and we only lost 4 at home.

When that drops out of the ten year ranking we should be top of that table

Surprisingly we're ninth on that list over the last five years:

https://footballrates.com/lastfiveyears-home

And 22nd for this century:

https://footballrates.com/table-thiscentury-home

We've played 41 more home games than Palace this century and lost 1 fewer.

Worth pointing out that we have won more than we have lost at home over the last ten years and have a goal difference of precisely zero.

So there's a lot of defeats but also fewer home draws than a lot of other sides.

Oh, I don’t know. Could work in a sort of Van Morrison stream-of-consciousness kind of way.

An author was charged with writing a stream of consciousness novel. He's starting a 4 year sentence.

I'm here all week.

Cannot find it now, but I saw something that said we had more sequences of 6 or more consecutive wins or losses than any other team in the championship over the last decade. That's very us.

87 it feels like more.

Our London Derby record at home and away over the last 10/15 years makes us look bigger cuckolds than John Bercow hiding in the wicker laundry basket watching his wife taking a shower With Dj Clinton Oliver and Paddy Docherty.

'Mecca Archer!.. There'll be no more talk of Mecca in this establishment!'

It also shows how good our away form has been over the last decade that we haven’t been relegated from the championship yet.

We’ve also been fortunate that our really bad spells (6 wins in 46 games = dead last) have been over a calendar year rather than a football one.

And there have been some absolute basket cases (Rotherham, Wycombe, Buton) in this league along with points deductions (Derby, Reading) that have kept the wolf from the door.

It’s interesting that whenever these stats come up it’s always Huddersfield in there with us. Another club that has made catastrophic decisions since getting itself into the Premier League under a lightning strike managerial appointment.
