Unfairly lambasted. He’s a good keeper and prior to this season only did good.

The coaching staff at QPR know how good he can be. Otherwise he wouldn't have been made first choice at the start of thi season. Sure, he's been on the wrong end of 2 hidings. If you look back at both Leicester and Coventry, how many of the goals were his fault? |  |

He probably kept the score respectable tbf. Some excellent shot stopping. Their corners were effective and he did reasonably well, apart from their first one. Great experience for him and hope it gives him a confidence boost.
Strange we have had three different goalkeepers in the last four games, with no goalie keeping their place due to form or injury. Weird.
Nardi had a decent game and was replaced.
Hamer had two adequate games and had his contract extended.
Walsh had a decent game and...

Better keepers,even world class keepers in the prem seem to struggle with proper into the mixer corners these days it seems.

This exactly. I have wanted Walsh as our number one and felt his wrist injury, which some described as ‘convenient’, couldn’t have happened at a worse time. If you fall off a horse, you don’t want to wait nearly six months to get back up again - Walsh would have wanted to put the Coventry game behind him as quickly as possible and instead was stuck in limbo through no fault of his own.
Should play every game for the remainder of the season. Then next season, if we are to have a serious tilt at the play-offs, he will have 30 odd Chamipionship games under his belt. Mahoney should be his number two and pushing him all the way - that is how you get better. | | | |

Has a habit of being caught in no man’s land when the ball goes over the top - better positioning and ours defenders have an easy header back to him or pass back but because he’s neither right out at play to clear his lines or deep in the area for an easy back pass he makes me nervous. He's raw and has had a poor season when thrown in (bizarrely IMO) when Nardi was apparently deemed Not Good Enough on basis of some mixed performances (but still noticeably better than his predecessor Begovich IMO.)
He's had a decent game. Doesn't prove he's good enough or necessarily better than Nardi (who remains mixed.) But it's still good and excellent for his confidence, which is probably a big part of his problem as a young keeper.

Yeah like I said on the other thread, he made me quite nervous in the first half, but came through the game with a lot of a credit, and you can see his potential. His positioning was a bit questionable at times but will come with time. If he's the long term plan -- which makes sense -- hopefully it's his spot for the rest of the season, and we let him ride out any development he needs to be a first team championship keeper. Just having some consistency in that position would benefit our back line. |  | | |

Another young player who needs a season, at least, out on loan to play against men on a regular basis.
I'm now even sure he was a regular with the Devs? Doubt even has 100 games in total under his belt across any level of adult football.

Thought he did really well, 1st corner blip aside.
Good age, good shot stopper, some better distribution than others although still could have released it earlier for some quick counters. Go with him until the end of the season, not going anywhere in the league, perfect time to blood him properly.
Then Walsh/Cooper battle from #1 shirt next season.
Sell/Release Nardi, Hamer back to retirement with Thanks, could keep him around for coaching purposes if he wants it.
