I live in hope that Saturday's walloping of Portsmouth was the spark that we need to finally kick on. I always believe that in takes a spark of something for things to happen, there have been so many false dawns at QPR, especially on the pitch, but you never know?

Bad timing for the International break I feel we needed a Tuesday night game at LR to continue our winning streak. Of course we beat Coventry in such an exciting atmosphere then collasped, beat Hull in more unexpected but exciting finish then completly fell apart its inpossible to figure this team out this year

I feel that we need to do a lot better in game management if we are actually going to make meaningful progress. Against Portsmouth we got away with some poor passing in midfield because they were so static at the back on numerous occasions and free hits all found the corners. But against Blackburn, Sheff U, Boro and Southampton our approach and implementation were second best, and way off the mark. We need to reinforce the midfield better against the top teams and somehow get higher against them so that we can transition into 6 man breaks against them, pretty much like they do against us. These tactical changes need to come about. Unless we are excellent in possession I can't see us beating these top teams with our current formation.

I think getting the equaliser at Leicester and then going on to win that game after that awful run before it was the actual spark, and what you saw against Portmsouth was the sign that something has finally sunk in with these players in terms of what they can produce with the right mindset.
It may not have been perfect, but it was at least very front-footed which is what we've all been crying out for (including Stephan himself).

It makes more sense to put our sudden perfect finishing and at least some of the six goals down to randomness. xG would rate some of those goals as no better than a 1 in 20 chance. Luck plays a big part in results and sometimes it’s with you.
But winning improves confidence and confidence can mean they try things that normally they wouldn’t.

Thought we were superb with the chances we had on Saturday but let’s be honest it was squeaky bum time at 3.1 and another goal for them could have caused an implosion. I said a couple of weeks ago we needed to find a team in worse form than us to get to that magic 50 mark . We found a two of them and dispatched both them 9.2 . Lots of positives on Saturday and I think we managed to get 3 players on the team of the week . All youngsters which is fantastic for future prospects. However we got overrun in midfield last Saturday. Much better sides would have exploited that . Still 6.1 and still buzzing.

I've no idea if we will do that or not but it's a really good sign that we've managed to end a pretty poor run and I'd just like to see us not throw in one of those god awful bend over and help yourself type performances between now and the end of the season. Stay competitive in every game, we'll win some and lose some but maintain some high standards.

Yep keep the momentum up, interesting to see if we can take the highs of the last 2 games into the Watford game. Be good to beat them.

I would love to think so, but we all know the score with our beloved team.
False dawns is the term. So often we follow a superb performance with one of dismal dross.
However, hope we carry on in the same vein, of course.
The one major thing though, i thought could happen is the three goal scorers can all realise that on their day, they can be exceptional players and exceptional strikers of goals.
Especially Kolli though. Crikey can that boy take a strike - incredible power and the first one - what a hit.
Watford at home seems a decent game to follow up with another performance....
