Good, I hope he really suffers in clinky wink.

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

Been told to expect some proper time. Good.

He'll no doubt try to spin this as some sort of "they're trying to silence me" nonsense but he's not been relevant to anything in years.

Between this and America it feels like the world is healing a little.

Not on all counts but enough to go inside. Good. Never liked him. Not even back in the day. Felt there was something odd about him (almost as though his over exuberant self-proclaiming sexual conquests was a case of hiding in plain sight) and not surprised when all this came out.

I was on a rape trial many, many years ago and they are incredibly difficult to get a guilty verdict from so there must have been some very substantial details/evidence in this case.

In the case of the one I was on both sides account of the situation were equally plausible. After a week of each side putting their case across, witness statements etc it boiled down to one word against the other as to whether it was consensual or not.
We were told that in order to give a guilty verdict it had to be proved with evidence that it was rape. There was no evidence at all to be able to do this so a not-guilty verdict was given. Not because he didn't do it, but because it couldn't be proven beyond all doubt he did.
It was an incredibly difficult situation as if you get it wrong you could be sending someone down for 8 years who is innocent or letting someone free who is guilty.

There are lots of other cases opening up against him now.
Nasty piece of work but he’s found god so I’m sure he’ll be fine.
Sean Lock did a little piece about him on 8/10 cats a few years ago .
He knew what he was back then .

Not the biggest shock of the week is it
How can you base your defence on lining up a number of women who confirmed that he wasn’t like that because he hadn’t raped them.

He may say he's found God but doubt God has found him.
Obviously I don't know the extent of it, but anyone who desports himself with all black clothing, black beard, tache, long black hair and never seen without dark glasses, is a bit wonky to me.

The judge said to Brand “have you anything to say before I pass sentence ?”
Brand muttered “f*ck all”
The judge cupped his hand to his ear and said to Brand's brief “did your client say something ?”
The brief said “my client said f*ck all m'lud”
The judge replied “ oh, I thought he said something”

Blokes who defend this guy because he shares a religion with them are the male equivalent of women who marry men who are in prison for life.

Hate to even ask this question but if these crimes happened between 2004 and 2009 is it their words against his or is there some other evidence preserved like clothing etc.
If he was 30 years old dating a 16 year old who he abused was that not already statuory r*pe or is the laws different in the UK.
I watched the Jimmy Saville documentary a few years and it made me physically sick I dont want to research this any more .
I see he is married to Bernard Gallagher's daughter hopefully they have no kids
