Thank you Boston. That's kind of you. Los Angeles County going under curfew at 10 pm tonight reminding us of where things are at.
The family and I are wearing blue and white for Kiyan today, will probably watch some American football on Thursday and then the R's on Friday morning. Will open up Saturday for checking out wintering sand hill cranes and snow geese by the Salton Sea. Who knows, might even come across a lesser spotted Clarke.
Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

Thank you Boston and the same to you and yours .I have never faced a more depressing thanksgiving in 30 years over here with Covid and everything going on plus Winter Is Coming. Ironically watching the QPR match thread lately has been a surprising uplifting experience hopefully it continues Friday

Yes similarly wishing USRs a happy and peaceful thanksgiving. You may want to drink a bit more tonight as we're at Legoland for Brentfart on Friday. Best not to be too sober!
Have a good one, all yee who dwell within the bosom of the Great Satan.
I'm going to head up to the high street later and find some kind of turkey breast thing that involves no effort. Maybe even a yam. Then the wife and I will get pissed.

Thing is i have found living here is the locals aren’t very comfortable in striking up conversations with people they don’t know. Either scared of offending, lack of social skills or paranoid you are going to either mug them or Kill them or and this is the big one, want something from them.
Hence the sound bites, happy thanksgiving. happy holidays, stay safe, have a good one, have a great rest of your evening at 10pm. How are you is in complete overkill.
I still think when someone says to me ‘how are you’ as a greeting I still feel compelled to answer it. It also seems to have crept in too UK society. The great football weekly podcast with Max Rushden often makes fun about it.
As for the moment of freezing in time when I have to write down the date. We’ll that’s a completely different discussion.
