We did have a good spell of possession 10 before and 10 after ht but did little with it, so it was quite an achievement to do even less with it after they score.

Great report. Having seen the extended highlight (and it was just the one) I think Dieng kept it respectable to be honest. It was akin to watching a team that has been playing quite well bragging about it on their phones whilst actually playing against Huddersfield. A sort of "I can't look at my phone and play football" afternoon. |  |

3 home games in just over a week. I didn't expect us to win all 3 but it was so flat. Whatever possession we had, was all done in front of the Huddersfield defence. So many players were meh! As you said the 3 loanees, Field, Johansen, Austin, who have been so influential, all had poor games.
I'm not sure Willock did enough for MOTM, but there weren't too many candidates. Just didn't think he did enough where it counted. |  |

I do find that supporting QPR is a great lesson in life's many disappointments and has taught me not to expect shiny things in my life. Then when they so turn up, I'm not disappointed when someone takes them away or they are broken a day after the warranty expired....

highlight of the afternoon was when we got into a crossing position for the 45th time and rather than go backwards we actually put a cross in and it went high into the Loft. I shouted something along the lines of ducking hell Rangers at the tv as you do and my 2 year old daughter ran in and repeated the phrase. Got to say I thought when I read your report first off that it was Wegerle, and I was there that day.
Having said that, we'd been on the p1ss since the ManU game, gotten down to Southampton by 11am and were still in the pub outside the ground at 2.50pm, so my memeory isn't necessarily very reliable. |  | | |
