I feel like the away win in 2010 was some kind of blip in the universe?

It doesn't matter what management, what team, what circumstances there are, we will always contrive to lose at Barnsley. We might as well send them a forfeit text in future and save even going up there.

Must be something about the South Yorkshire air as we have struggled against Barnsley and Rotherham in recent times. Not good that we finally fail to score away in the league for the first time and it had to be against the bottom side.

Looking at the bigger picture I am hoping that last Saturday and this, is not a return to our away day blues as we have yet to visit fellow play off hopefuls Blackburn, Luton, Stoke, Sheffield Utd and Forest which will be tough.

The only consolation I can take today is Barnsley are now doomed and will go down. We usually lose to relegated teams like Rotherham and Bolton so Barnsley have had it.

I hadn't forgotten them I just thought we had already lost up there this season. One season tends to blend into another when you play the same teams year after year. You are right though, we do struggle there too albeit it is west Yorkshire rather than south.

I admire your positivity! There's no doubt that that is a piss poor result. However, looking at it objectively every game has three points available. It ramps the pressure up on the next games, so time for stepping up to the plate, a reaction, or any other cliche. Come on you rs

I was up there that Sunday afternoon, I drove me car with WestberksR as a passenger.

Rob Hulse scored first everything was fine and dandy and all us Rs were having a good time until Scunthorpe decided to score four bloody goals.

Long drive home thinking WTF happened there? It's not todays result or performance or the one at Scunthorpe that matters these results happen what's important is how we respond Tuesday night at Millwall, todays result is now history in my book, we got a deserved slap in the old kisser.

I always--always treat our opponents whoever they are or whatever their league position with respect.
