The parade here is this coming Sunday. Not as long as usual as there’s still a few ‘Faucist’s’ who cannot let go of power. Which is a shame, because a friend of mine lives on the part of the route that is being cut and she throws a great all dayer. Oh well. | |

I was drinking in Hammersmith today which used to be uproarious on St Pat's but strangely quiet. A few going from pub to pub in a disappointingly desultory fashion.
I wonder if pubs will ever find their former glory ?

If you need an excuse to get hammered, you're not a proper pisshead, certainly not an Irish one.
Which is why I always think of it as" Amateur Night".
