On the morning of the first game of the season I'd like to wish the head coach, his team, the staff and the squad all the best. I hope you can all prove a few people wrong and have a very strong campaign. It won't be easy and we may make a slow start, but I hope everyone keeps the faith.
I hope we have a good season, play well and get decent results.
I am worried about our lack of quality beyond the first eleven especially at right back and up front (unless Sinclair Armstrong is the new Clive Allen).
Fingers crossed Mick Beale knows the score and can sort it out as required.
I'll watch as many games as I can from Australia

Blimey the knives are already out for Beale and seemingly Dieng. How dare we lose. How dare Dieng doesn't save a worldie! My grannie could have saved that! There is a lad on facebash who wanted Beale sacked after the Palace friendly and he's still going on about it.
I thought we may get to the Boro game before some fans went mad but it seemed to happen at yesterday's final whistle. We lost 1-0. It wasn't great but we always lose there. 2-0 usually. If young Armstrong is more composed later on perhaps we nick a point.
God help us if we only draw with Boro next week or god forbid, lose again.
Get behind the coach, the team. It's a raw squad and a raw coach at this level. We have to give it time to bed in and settle down. There will be a few new faces all being well but we are working with a tiny budget so we have to be realistic. I very much think we will be very competitive but we need time, especially this season.

Spot on, Bosh.
The people who already dislike and/or don’t rate Les are jumping on him. The people who wanted Warburton offered a new deal are jumping on Les and the club too.
It’s one game. Without Willock. New manager. New system. We lost to Blackburn 1-0 away last season too. Incidentally we drew 2-2 against Boro at home. Obviously we didn’t play Sunderland in the league last year, but of the relegated sides we lost away to two of them and one away at one.
Useful context for this season, I think.

Anyone who wants Beale out now or is holding a grudge because of MW then they need to give their head a wobble.. I didn't want MW gone but it's done now so it's time to get behind the team and enjoy the season
It seems to be people who only watch the games on TV/Stream seem to get more annoyed than the people who go to games
Thankfully our support in the stadiums doesn't represent our online persona
