Blackburn are a decent side 21:03 - Feb 28 with 2827 views | Paddyhoops | Blackburn tearing Leicester a new one in the Fa cup . Look a top side on this showing. Maybe we’re not as bad as we thought. Sorry clutching at straws here.

Blackburn are a decent side on 21:24 - Feb 28 with 2736 views | Logman | They were bang average against us. On our day we would have beaten them. It's all about mentality for the next twelve games. I think Gareth will be good as anyone else to galvanise us and if we go down from here it won't be for want of trying on our part and it will be due to Wigan, Blackpool or Huddersfield transforming.

Blackburn are a decent side on 02:12 - Mar 1 with 2539 views | CLAREMAN1995 | Fleetwood town playing tomorrow and getting to the quarters would be a tougher pill to swallow I cannot figure out Leicester at all One game they are superb then lose a couple in a row and are slipping down the table They have some great players so maybe its Rodgers and his job is on the line I suspect
Blackburn are a decent side on 04:56 - Mar 1 with 2430 views | QPROslo | Blackburn made a smart Managerial appointment last summer which we didn't, and are obviously a decent team sitting 4th. They played with smarts against us, waited patiently for us to give them space at the back to exploit which we did continually, especially down our right side, and they beat us easily. Lots for Gareth to repair, can only hope some of the injured will be ready for Saturday.

Indeed... Blackburn's path has been quite similar to ours in recent years... failed prem campaigns, subsequent managerial circus till a good one showed up and stabilised the club, recent big player sale (Armstrong - Eze), though they had that season in L1. But they've definitely gone in a different direction this season. Wish them luck while wondering how in the course of a few months we've gone from peers to looking like teams in different leagues!

Totally agree. Good manager whose team plays a good, fluid, style of football, as evidenced last night against Leicester. He also genuinely wants the best for Blackburn and has gone on record to say that the only way that they will maximise the value of future player sales, is by playing football in a particular manner, and I believe that he is correct. We managed to get the best part of £20 million for Eze, primarily for his ability, but also on the back of the style of football that was largely played under Mark Warburton. Tbf, I thought we made a smart managerial appointment in the summer. Just our luck he turned out to be a pot bellied snake ðŸ

Agreed. I thought Blackburn were not great; we just handed them the game. I bit of pressure, and I thought their defence would cave. Which is exactly how we scored, Ozzy decided he was Messi for half a second and got in a cross, which their poor defence did not deal with, and Tim (who is AMC really and therefore was in the correct position going forwards) snaffled up the chance.

I have generally got to like most of our Managers over the last few years even Warburton who I didn't like at first. I never liked Beale, he was always loose with the truth, saying one thing then contradicting himself later, so never really trusted him. But when he starting getting results out of us and took us to the top of the table I certainly wasn't complaining. That he ended up claiming he couldnt leave the Club and the players he'd brought in, then doing exactly that a month later, wasn't the huge surprise.
