You know what with them and a few others - Uriah Rennie, Mike Dean and going back a bit Clive Thomas and of course your mate Mr S - its about wanting the attention - even if its bad I think!

Weird I know but some referees actually do seem to enjoy controversy.
The other one is another good friend of yours Mr Woolmer - he is the only referee I have ever seen warm up as a 4th official - why? Might be another hour or more from that warm up pre match to him getting on - totally pointless - attention seeking again I fear! | | | |

Mike Dean definitely. One of those 'we all know one' types.
Rennie I actually really liked. I remember Loftus Road blew up on him one night over a Sunderland goal that we were all adamant shouldn't have stood, get home and watch the replay and he was absolutely right.
Woolmer's been better this season! He definitely goes searching his own name though - bloke who used to run the distribution at my old newspaper in Northampton knew him and he was very well aware of what was said and written about him at QPR. | | | |
