I guess they can be good or bad, but being Rangers mine are mostly bad:
If you had told me....
when in the away end at the Peterborough cup tie last season, that we wouldn't even make the playoffs......I wouldn't have believed you.
when Beale turned down Wolves and we were top of the league, that we would only just survive relegation.....I wouldn't have believed you.
when Tyler Roberts scored that magnificent goal at Charlton, that he would turn out to be one of the biggest wastes of space we've ever had on loan....I wouldn't have believed you.
when Les had played a couple of matches for us, that he would turn out to be arguably our greatest ever centre-forward, I wouldn't have believed you.
Etc.

walking down SAR going to tube after games in 83/84 , loftus road crowds around 25000, we were winning, top 4 league ( now prem lge) and things looked great, i recall looking at the decrepit white city stadium and thinking, "could that be done up" ? for us.. little did we know wembley was going to be rebuilt and all that, if we'd gone in and done 40000 then, maybe the fa add it to 60000 for england games, as in london, nearby, good transport etc . not saying we would get 60,000 but the base was there. since it has been a development twice with the latest one going up now.

When Peter Crouch made his debut for us in 2001, that we would get a transfer fee for him the next year, that he would go on to play for Liverpool and England and that he would marry Abbey Clancy.
Suffering since 1978.

Brilliant. I thought he was the worst player I had ever seen. Everyone gasping with admiration because he managed to trap the ball, just because of his size.
He went on, like many players, people, things and life in general, to prove me very wrong.

If someone had said when we were top we'd end the season by drawing with Norwich and beating Burnley and Stoke away - you'd assume we'd have won the league, rather than just avoiding relegation.
If you had told me at any point in history that we'd sign the Brazilian numbner one keeper and he couldn't even get in our team - I would not have believed you.
Bare bones.

Back when he was yet to be sold to Fulham, I would never have believed that Lee Cook would never go on to establish himself as a Premiership player. I remember thinking some of his dribbling back in those heady days was mesmerising. Such a shame he never made it at the top level, he had the requisite talent.
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I wrote him off after 15 minutes against Birmingham!
If you had told me back when we went up under Warnock that little more than ten years later Brentford would be in the top ten of the Premier League while we were struggling at the foot of the Championship, I wouldn’t have believed you.

If you'd told me when I was watching the Brady brothers, Andy Malcolm, Brian Bedford and John Collins in the 3rd division, we'd be the top club in London.
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one's lifetime." (Mark Twain)

if you'd have told me in 2013, despite groaning nearly every time he touched the ball, that bobby zamora's name would still be chanted on our terraces 10 years later, you'd have told me where to go.......
One Sunday morning in April 1986 that by dinner time I would be in tears after watching some 2 bob carrot crunchers hand our arse to us and never see us compete in a cup final ever again …. I wouldn’t have believed you

If you would of told me that after Briatore , Eccleston , then one of the worlds richest men had got involved with us that a few years later we would be even worse off from when they bought the club then I would of thought you were mad
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

After the match where Cantona scored that 97th minute winner against us, I saw one of our fans punch a wall by the stairs from the upper loft. I mean just straight drill a straight right into a brick wall. No idea how he didn't shatter his knuckles. Or maybe he did and his anger allowed him to transcend the pain.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

I was in the loft end when he came on, oh how we laughed.
20 years later, now we’re all laughing with him, got himself an excellent platform, and he’s had a stellar career.
I wonder if we’ll be doing the same with Nico one day?

If you'd have told me last November that we would be drawn against Fleetwood Town in the cup, and play the match like we never gave a flying fcuk.............
