Excellent.

As if the Catholic Church didn't have enough atheist degenerates.

Bless me father for I have sinned.

I have been avoiding all sensible life options most Saturdays by following QPR, do you think I will be accepted into to heaven or the gates of Scumford Bridge?

Unfortunately young sir, you have already experienced the gates of hell and all damnation as in life you have been burdened with the mortal punishment without ending of following your team that plays at the place where all sinners end up.

It's Loftus Road Hell for you, young chap.

Your destiny is unchangeable !!!!!

Walking in a "Mackie Wonderland"

I think Boz was referencing the second stanza from the Beatles' immortal "Marti Cifuentes" song, from Yellow Submarine:

Father McCarthy
Writing the notes for a programme that no one will read
No one comes near
Look at him working
Darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there
What does he care?
All the QPR fans
Where do they all come from?
All the QPR fans
Where do they all belong?

This has always been an inter-ecuminical site, my brethren.

I am placing this as mid-1980’s by the square ‘ski’ hats that were ubiquitous when I started going to LR regularly.

It seemed to me at the time as an outsider (an interloper from east London) that the half-and-half QPR-Celtic number sported by the guy on the right was the one, but there were also ‘all QPR’ versions.

I am happy to be corrected but I don’t recall any QPR / GR versions.

Round my way, the Whammers had affinity to both Glasgow clubs and bizarrely Spurs as well as those two also had Dundee United (orange) ones.

Note to younger readers, that this was a subtly different phenomenon to the half and half scarf.

For all the connections between certain Headhunters and Glasgow Rangers, the only half and half Chelsea hats I ever saw featured Celtic.

Walk to Wembley from the Grove for the Milk Cup Final.
Could have continued to be such a great day, had we kept walking..
