Looking at doing Wrexham away this season but heard that the town is quite dead in terms of pubs etc, are people staying in Wrexham town or nearby Chester?

Best thing about Llandudno is the A55 which bypasses it!!

I have been looking at the various options including overnight stays and I conclude this is a pain in the arse to get to.

Most direct (but therefore most expensive) train routes are via Chester.

I’m into doing new grounds (and this would be for me) but thinking about giving this one a swerve. Could change my mind though .
