And who at the age of 27, would not jump at the chance of experiencing a different way of life in a different country and as a limited player, who probably has no idea what he will do after his playing career ends, can't blame footballers for going for the cash and the lifestyle.
Regards the player, I never warmed to him, but I dont think he was one that jacked in his performances. He just wasn't very good.
My Pompey friend has found him to be decent and the fact Pompey still wanted him, suggests he was better there than for ourselves.

Don't blame him. Probably a family lifestyle choice. Contract takes him to 30 and then he can decide where life takes him then.
He showed flashes of talent but was always one of those players that seemed to get very lost at times during matches. A couple of sweet passes and then he'd vanish for ages.
