Watching the first half against both Cardiff and Boro I couldn't believe how fast the game was being played at. To do that regularly through the season we need a full 25 players who are up to the same standard as the starting 11 and that isn't going to happen.
Is this JS pushing them to hard? Bicycle Ben not having them conditioned? Signing players who are broken already? Or is it a bit of all three?
Whichever it is, the season is already going flat. |  |

It’s got to the point where achieving a play off place has become entirely dependant upon player availability and that will be true for most teams in the division barring the obvious ones with the deepest pockets and squads.
We are yet to see and now very unlikely to see our best 11 out on pitch together. A crying shame because it clearly promised so much (although I don’t and never have considered Kone a “key” player…works hard and has a good attitude, but he looks absolutely miles off what we need). | | | |

I see that we've only named 24 players in our squad submitted to the EFL, so we have space to sign a "free agent". That is, if there is one available worth signing! As expected Dembele wasn't included as he won't be available until 2027.

Don’t realise that we’ve only gone with 24 named players.
If it stays that way till January and we continue to be an episode of Casualtiy where a coach day trip goes horribly wrong then poor planning from the club yet again.
The current state of the physio room makes the position with Kolli and the loaning of Morgan look a bit suss. Hopefully that can all change over the extended break and we’ll be having to make tough calls on who doesn’t get included match day. I won’t hold my breath though |  |
