Jordy de Wijs 13:55 - Jan 9 with 27713 viewsaston_hoop

Hull centre back, Dutch, 25 years old. Anyone know much about him? Any Dutch fans know if this is a legit source rather than the Dutch version of The Sun?

Stuck it in a translator and it says we have signed him

From the person who brought you Jordy de Wijs signs Monday and Jordy de Wijs signs Tuesday comes Jordy de Wijs signs this week sometime.

It's like our own version of jam tomorrow this, I like it.

He's signing on the Monday....
Then going for a test on Tuesday....
He will be signing contracts on Wednesday or on Thursday or Friday or Saturday....
But hes chilling on Sunday....

Poll: Are we staying up?

More like a Craig David song whereby he has run out of things to do during the week.

This Tomcat fella reminds me of a poster called Ted a few years back who just filled this board with reminiscences of past battles on the terraces in the 70’s. Got bored after the first post. Has Tomcat migrated from whats left of WATRB’s board? If so can we introduce some kind of Covid equivalent test for such people before they are allowed to offend our minds?

Poll: Where will Clive put QPR in his new season preview

ITK 1.1 - throw enough sht at the wall.

If you say Jordy De Wijs is going to sign every day, then sooner or later you'll be right, and then you can give it the big un and pretend all the other incorrect days didn't happen.

deal still on

However talks have hit a slight snag as player has to self isolate because his wife has covid.

deal will still be announced this week

Does she play for Brentford?

I think the opposite. Kane has been in terrible form, but at least still looks like he is putting in effort and getting up the pitch. Niko hides, opponents walk through him and I struggle to find anything positive to say about him. He's young and you hope he improves, but blimey he looks soft.

Just seen this, gobbles.

I take your point that Kane doesn't hide, and I think that Niko has been sitting back more of late (perhaps as his form dips).

Good points.

Must give Masterson a lot of confidence, not.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

I think you mean Morgantwin. Ted still a valued, humourous and vibrant presence on this forum.

The problem with this signing is he'll almost certainly slot into the back three with Dickie and Barbet with Cameron the clogger moving back into midfield at the expense of Ball, and then watch as our ball retention goes back into the negative.

Surely this is a good signing? No longer need to use Cameron in defence which gives us more options in the middle of the park. Being able to rotate players rather than flogging them to death is a positive in my mind

I'd hope it means we can stop using Cameron altogether.

Marinade. Buy marinade.

Can't say any more than that but it's a reliable sauce. :) Sorry.

I believe he said on Saturday that he was hoping to get a short-term loan for Masterson to give him some regular action

Yep, this is it. This is the day.

Also Themis Kefelas may be joining Barnet on loan.

Can't say much more at this stage but the 20-year-old defender could stay with the Bees until the end of February.

Keep it under your titfer.

Buy kruggerands, lots of them

The BFD!

Looks like he's a few weeks off being ready.

You wouldn't want to spill his pint and argue about it.

Hasn't played since November so may be a few weeks before he becomes a regular starter.
