Following the car crash of Millwall players taking the knee when fans were allowed at The New Den last night they paid tribute to Captain Tom Moore unlike any of The Premiership clubs playing last night. It's a sad old world when we are relying on Millwall as a voice of reason in football

If he was black they'd have refused to and their fans would have clapped their refusal.

On a related note how many people know Daribul Islam Choudhry's name who was older than Captain Tom did his 100 Laps of his garden whilst practicing Ramadan yet only raised £ 90,000 and got an OBE whereas Captain Tom became a Sir and raised £ 38,000,000 might show why footballers still take the knee

Out of interest who had the idea first and did it first? If it was Captain Tom, then I think that would explain the difference.

Plus, his split times were shocking compared to Tom's.

No work rate at all.

They shoukd have done a garden relay.

In all seriousness, massive well done to both men, and everyone else who has raised money during the last 11 months.

All hero's in my eyes.

RIP Sir Tom. You've more than earned your rest

Sorry JC, but that's how I feel about that club.

I'll leave it there as a man has passed away and also out of respect for poor ol' Clive!

Why not just applaud while kneeling and save time?

the amount raised probably had more to do with the Knighthood rather than the fact he was white. If the other fella hadn't been given anything you might have a point but he did get an OBE

to be fair to the Premier League clubs and other Championship ones, Sir Tom had absolutely nothing to do with football so unless they are going to do a minutes applause every time someone famous dies they are probably better off staying out of it

I'm so clumsy I'd need stabilisers to do that!

What is the point then? Wasn't it to say other clubs should have followed Millwall and done a minutes applause for him?
