I actually relish the England v Germany games over the last couple of decades.
This one's no different and I think we have a chance to progress. They look vulnerable.

Not that England - Germany at a World Cup needs any hyping up, but I'm hugely excited and think it's the perfect match-up. If England are serious about going all the way, they're going to have to beat big teams. Who better than Germany to measure our progress against? Would much rather be playing them than Hungary.
Both teams have played well in patches so far, but have also been underwhelming at others. Both have superb players, but look pretty beatable. I think it's going to be very even, and extremely tense, but I'd give us the edge very, very slightly. Can't wait either way. | | | |
