I haven’t been watching the ODI series between England and Australia being played this week,but I see that due to the DLS method we have to score 9 more runs than Australia did in their 48 overs.Not that there’s much chance of us getting their original score,let alone the extra runs needed to win,but it does seem a bit unfair to me.I can understand it being swayed by a run chase with only 10 or 20 overs,but they’re only losing 2 overs.
Is there a better way of setting a fairer run chase than the present system? |  | | |  |

There is too much cricket for them to play unfortunately mate.The T20 World Cup followed by these 3 odi’s,a tour of Pakistan,a ODI tour to South Africa and then a test tour to New Zealand.

The England team have a 6am flight out of Oz tomorrow morning so they ain’t going to get much sleep so be way of getting an extra hour is to get bowled out cheap. It seems that the authorities and the players are prostituting themselves to get as much money as possible. Players are complaining about the schedules but then happily to fly round the world to the different T20 franchises. | |
