Holding up but saw in the papers (well, online) recently that chippies all over the country are really worried. They have no choice but to increase prices as energy usage is such a big part of their business but they fear they'll lose a lot of customers, particularly the 'Friday-evening treat' customers. |  | | |

You do know that you can retrieve the £1 coin once you have parked the trolley. Cheaper than buying a tin of corned beef and more secure for your home than using a house key. | |

Came out on the seafront and only just midday, but the sound of the gulls, the smell of the sea and chips wafting towards me and there was Harry’s right in front of me.

Same as Pukka Pies,eye wateringly expensive at the chippie so you get one from Morrisons at £1.50 pop it on the exhaust manifold of your motor and by the time you get your chips everything is piping hot.
(Can't do that with an electric car) | |
