Lyndon to Grangers? 13:16 - Dec 14 with 9962 viewsderbyhoop

The other Rangers are rumoured to be interested in our Scotstralian. After the Beale fiasco, we should be demanding £10m+ and, even then, tell them to FO.
To anybody else a straight No.

We could buy any player in the world if it wasn't for those pesky P&S conditions in the FFP regs. Damn!

The grass is always greener.

As Northern pointed out and no one else has mentioned, Dykes is very important when defending set plays. Armstrong or Bonne are not currently very good at that.

Really? Beale pointed out before he absconded we'd conceded 5 of our last 6 goals from set plays , so I'd say that's another thing Dykes doesn't do well.

Brilliant, anything else we can blame him for?

Surely the lack of integrity and professionalism of the likes of Beale, Gray and Austin must be down to Dykes in some way too?

Don't be silly, that's all down to Lee Hoos.

What about the water pressure in the Ellerslie Road toilets? Surely, with a name such as "Dykes", he should be responsible for this.

Well he's clearly to blame for Stainrod's manic depression.

If you've been watching the games then you would have noticed that Dykes wins most of his headers in our box. Most of the conceded set piece goals have not been the fault of Lyndon.

Let's be honest, if we got offered money for Lyndon Dykes, he'd be on his way.

I do not think Armstrong is ready at all for 1st team football, not sure he will ever be ready for the Championship but, you know what, I would prefer him to start ahead of Dykes even if it is to give him a proper chance.....or I would look around the lower divisions or even the Conference leagues for a player.

I'm willing to stake a lot on the fact you'll look very silly and very wrong for saying Sinclair Armstrong won't be good enough for the Championship. He's a major talent.

There were some on here, maybe you were of them Gazza, I can't remember - who doubted if Eze would ever be effective.

Sometimes it's about the way they move, the crispness of touch and pass, football instincts, speed of thought and on pitch charisma.

Like Eze, Sinclair Armstrong has all of those things.

Simmer down children, and, not for the first time, try to engage with the point I'm making, which was the dubious one about Dykes as our supposed set piece-busting machine. If not, just grow up!

Good to know we have some (would-be) psychiatrists on the board just in case a section is needed! With posters like you, I feel sorry (and ashamed) for people who really do have mental health problems.

I think this board needs a moderator to give long-suffering Clive a break!

I can't say I've noticed much of those qualities WestbourneR. Pace and strength but not much else so far, at least in his first team appearances.

It's very early in his career though. Maybe when he scores that elusive first goal, he will be less rushed, calmer and will mature into something like the player that his ' online reputation' says he will be.

I'd say it's 50/50 you might end up looking silly, after that rapturous appraisal of a player who hasn't scored a first team goal yet. He may make me eat my words, but nothing has shown me I will...so far. He'll get game time for sure though, so he needs to make the most of it.

Someone on Twitter just raised a good point, Critchley got 15 goals out of Gary Madine in a single season…

What offer of money would be enough to justify selling the only forward who has scored for us this season and would be enough to purchase a better replacement?

Can't see this happening and would be dreadful decision to let our only striker leave.

Am guessing those that want Lyndon gone probably wanted rid of Warburton.

That went well.

If we get rid Dykes, I reckon 16th is our destiny this season !!!

Be careful what you wish for people !!!
